Description
This is Lori Lemaris, one of Superman's girlfriends from a more innocent time when bittersweet love stories weren't verboten in DC comics. I drew this on my lunch hour a few months ago when I was still working my old job. Pencil on crappy sketchbook paper. I'm pretty happy with this, actually. I ought to make a more finished piece out of it.

I like this, there is something very emotionally stirring about it. Perhaps it is because much of Tanita's character is based on a wheel-chair bound young woman I knew many years ago, but the idea of a mermaid using a wheelchair hadn't occurred to me.
